EVENT OVERVIEW
A gateway into the magnificent realm of Sacred Geometry…
Escape into the cozy hinterlands of Tennessee for a weekend of intensive Sacred Geometry study with Randall Carlson this late February! Just in time for the last push through the winter months, Sacred Geometry for the Practical Person is sure to thaw your mental gears with 3 days of invigorating learning and camaraderie with Randall, his team, and a classroom-full of likeminded peers.
This is a wonderful opportunity to retreat from the mundane day-to-day and immerse yourself in the enriching lost wisdom of our ancient past, where we will discover the artistic harmony of the near-forgotten science of Sacred Geometry. The journey begins with a point and a line.
Randall will guide your journey from the beginning — What defines Sacred Geometry? Why is it important? — and proceed into the practicality and ageless utility of this ancient wisdom. How can this methodology be applied to, enrich, and improve our daily lives in the modern age? Where do art and science intertwine?
Sacred Geometry for the Practical Person is designed for the modern thinker. Whether you be a craftsman, designer, builder, artist, or purely a seeker into lost technology or spirituality, you will gain tools in this course that give you the power to imbue your creations with a mathematical harmony that stands the test of time.
What ties together the art and architecture of disparate ancient cultures? What do motifs and methods used in Megalithic, Egyptian, Islamic, Gothic, Native American, and many other cultures’ creations have in common? From what source did these ancient craftsmen draw their inspiration? The answer is Sacred Geometry.
Join Randall Carlson in this immersive weekend workshop to empower your creative ability, and to further understand the building blocks of what makes us human.
In addition to plenty of hours of dedicated classroom time, where Randall will lecture, instruct, and provide personalized tutoring, students will have the opportunity to experience these theories in practice on a visit to a local Gothic-inspired chapel. Here, we will encounter firsthand how craftsmen and builders through time effectively employed Sacred Geometry and Number to build the most beautiful and harmonious creations known to man, and why it is important to maintain our mastery of this archaic knowledge in the present day.
*BONUS* B.Y.O. hand drum or favorite rhythm instrument to join in on the Sacred Trance Instructional Drum Circle, where Randall will use his past experience as a trance drummer to teach the class a range of traditional Middle Eastern drum patterns utilizing sacred numbers. He may even show you a video of his old band if you ask nicely.
*BONUS* We will host a pre-retreat Zoom call for attendees so that we may get acquainted, and to brief the class on what to expect so that we may dive right into the good stuff when we come together at the retreat.
