Episode #029: Fingerprints of Catastrophe
Types of evidence can be classified as footprints, that are obvious – like an impact crater, or fingerprints, that require enhancements with technology to assess – like the spectrum of microspherules at the YDB horizon or the variety of indicators that are retrieved from ice cores. RC details the differences between airbursts and impacts, along with the types of incoming objects and the effects that they create, revealing why the estimates of geocosmic encounters is way too low. Then going into the research papers that compare evidence between Tunguska, YDB and KTB events, and present comparable evidence across multiple sites on three continents, Randall commits to rout out the devil in the details, and the guys marvel at the type of event that would create the temperatures necessary to boil quartz.

Episode #028: Destruction by Floods and Fire
After revisiting some recent topics, RC starts in on the commonality of legends of cyclic catastrophes due to floods and fires, and the reasons why Native Americans didn’t adopt stories of a great flood from visiting missionaries. We show evidence of huge floods that occurred across the Pacific Northwest, and imagine what survivors of those events might experience after the destruction of their world. Again, the dearth of human remains is pondered, as Randall leads into papers about vast and repeated wildfires at the YDB. Episode #027: Comets and Platinum Group Metals
Comet Atlas is disintegrating, so RC goes into more details about the five stages of the life-cycle of comets, including some speculations on what may perturb them out of their deep space hibernation, including the outer gas giants’ orbital distances that are exactly what they need to be to create a planetary bucket-brigade. Furthering the discussion on Platinum Group Metals, or PGM’s, he reviews some of the modern uses for these metals and hints that the Ancients were also aware of their properties, having the guys search for “Pallas” in mythology, and reading from a 1995 study that likened PGM-doped DNA to molecular wire. Could PGM delivery have caused the genetic changes that were discovered around the area of the 1908 Tunguska aerial blast? We look at images from the earliest expeditions to the site by Leonid Kulik, and compare some of the effects of the blast to the enigmatic Carolina Bays…

Episode #025: The Life Cycle of Comets
Randall’s back-drop sparks discussion of meteor showers and the progression of a disintegrating comet to provide the material for multiple impacts. We have learned critical lessons from Shoemaker-Levy 9, the KT boundary impact event, Tunguska, and nuclear detonations. He gets back into the work of Ted Bunch et al that compares impact markers from these events with the evidence for the YDIH. Lack of a crater is problematic to critics, but an oblique/tangential grazing of a passing object above the ice sheet is the scenario RC prefers, and includes drumlins as one of the potential effects that we now see in the landscapes.

Episode #024: Younger Dryas – The Big Picture
Randall opens with an extended “Randallogue” about the need for generalist scientists to cross-pollenate between disciplines and adjust the focus to the “Big Picture” of human and Earth history, to which the Younger Dryas Boundary is a back-drop. He describes how thoroughly an expanding ice sheet would pulverize everything across a continent, and reminds us that the floods from melting ice sheets were so large that the term used to quantify ocean currents had to be implemented to measure them, to wash away other evidence of civilizations.
We look at the work and graphs from Anders Carlson and determine that these sudden and periodic catastrophes point to a cosmic source, where most components operate in cycles.

Episode #023: Younger Dryas – The Vanishing of the Clovis People – Part 2
After a bit of review about the sudden disappearance of the southwestern deserts’ Clovis settlements coinciding with the YDB, RC ventures further into the records of PIDBA, with maps showing the massive reduction in projectile-point finds across the US. Other studies show a hiatus of occupation in the Great Lakes Region, Belgium and also southwest Asia. After a summation, he shares a study that links the evidence for an ET event with that of the Tunguska aerial burst and the Chicxulub crater associated with the K-T Boundary impact, which includes potential options that would not leave all the required “markers” for impact – like an oblique/tangential passing of a disintegrating comet. RC had envisioned that exact scenario and modified a graphic almost twenty years ago to present as a possible explanation for the catastrophe. Episode #021: Younger Dryas – The Vanishing of the Clovis People
After a 6-week catch-up period, the Snake Bros rant conspiracy because the protocols were so poorly reproduced by the “expert” teams that debunked the YDIH findings. Forgiving RC shrugs and allows that the methods are very technical, then continues to reveal others’ evidence in support of the hypothesis, including more ET materials/markers and the ubiquitous black mat, and also notes that Hiawatha Crater in Greenland adds interesting possibilities to the future work toward an answer.
RC also shares several examples from the literature that document culturally sterile periods for at least 500 years, immediately after the YDB black mat layer. Snake Bros are fascinated by the idea that people will return to the exact same spot and build a fire, and with the changes in the design of points and their fluting. We all talk about the new developments on the horizon for the podcast and the work – along with some fun!
